Mindy Moleford is a character on the animated television series The Tick.
Biography[]
Mindy is the daughter of a Mole Woman, and a spelunker who encountered Mindy's mother on a voyage from the surface world. She lived at least most of her life on the surface, and became a famous supermodel. Her life changed completely when the king of the Mole People, and she fell in love with him, as he did with her. But her controlling publicist, Paul (who may have had a romantic relationship with her), was determined to keep them apart. After Paul had the king arrested, she visited him in jail, where the Lava Man, who was trying to terminate the Mole King at the time, struck. She helped to defeat the Lava Man, and went with the king to live with him as his queen.
Mindy is later seen in a commercial for the Enemy Awards ceremony, even though she had previously given up her life as a supermodel.

- Mindy Moleford's name and appearance are apparently inspired by Cindy Crawford, a famous model and actress. Like Mindy Moleford, Cindy Crawford has long brown hair and a naturally-occurring beauty mark on her face.
- Mindy's appearance is the commercial for the Enemy Awards was likely included to save time creating a new character model. It is also possible that she recorded the commercial before her encounter with the Mole King.
